OnlineGuitar.ca is operated by Andrei Tucra, a sole proprietor based in Ontario, Canada.
By accessing this website or booking a lesson, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Definitions
- “Site” refers to OnlineGuitar.ca
- “Student,” “you,” or “user” refers to any individual accessing the site or booking lessons
- “Lesson” or “class” refers to any instructional session delivered online via Zoom or a similar platform
2. Eligibility & Parental Consent
- Students must be 18 years or older to book and pay for lessons independently.
- Students under 18 may participate only with the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- The parent or guardian is responsible for:
- Payment
- Student conduct
- Providing appropriate supervision during lessons
3. Free Consultation Lesson
- Each new student may book one (1) free trial lesson.
- The trial lesson is 40 minutes and includes:
- Skill assessment
- Goal discussion
- Basic exercises
- Program overview
- No credit card is required.
After the consultation, students may choose:
- Lesson packages (3, 5 or 10 lessons, pricing varies by instrument/genre), or
- Pay-As-You-Go lessons.
4. Lesson Format
- All lessons are delivered online via Zoom or a similar video platform.
- Students are responsible for:
- A stable internet connection
- Functional audio and video equipment
- Having their instrument tuned and ready before the lesson
5. Payments
Accepted Payment Methods
Pricing
- Lesson pricing varies by instructor, instrument, lesson format, and package size (e.g. 3-lesson, 5-lesson, or 10-lesson packages).
- Current pricing is clearly displayed at the time of booking or purchase.
- Package payments must be completed before the first lesson of the package.
6. Cancellation, Make-Ups & Refunds
Cancellation Policy
- At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
- Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are forfeited.
Make-Up Lessons
- Make-up lessons may be offered at the instructor’s discretion, based on availability.
- Any approved make-up lesson must occur within the same week to prevent package abuse.
Refunds
Refunds apply only to unused lessons and only if issues are caused by the instructor, including:
- Instructor no-show or repeated rescheduling
- Instructor-caused technical or scheduling failures
- Improper conduct by the instructor
No refunds are issued for:
- Student cancellations
- Missed lessons
- Loss of interest or availability
- Completed lessons
7. Student Conduct
Students agree to:
- Attend lessons on time
- Come prepared with required materials
- Follow instructional guidance
- Maintain respectful communication
OnlineGuitar.ca reserves the right to discontinue lessons for disruptive or disrespectful behavior, without refund.
8. Recording Policy
To protect privacy and teaching integrity:
- Recording lessons (audio, video, or screen capture) is not permitted.
- Recording is allowed only with explicit written permission from the instructor.
9. Teaching Materials & Copyright
All teaching materials—including tabs, PDFs, exercises, videos, and lesson plans—are the intellectual property of OnlineGuitar.ca / Andrei Tucra.
Students may:
- Use materials for personal learning
- Print or save copies for private practice
Students may not:
- Share, redistribute, or publish materials
- Sell or upload materials to any platform
10. Website Content
All content on OnlineGuitar.ca—including text, images, graphics, and videos—is protected by copyright. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.
11. Limitation of Liability
OnlineGuitar.ca is not responsible for:
- Internet or technical issues on the student’s end
- Equipment malfunctions
- Injuries resulting from improper posture, technique, or instrument handling
- Any damages arising from participation in lessons or use of the website
Lessons are educational in nature. No specific results or skill levels are guaranteed.
12. Service Changes
OnlineGuitar.ca reserves the right to modify:
- Pricing
- Lesson formats or policies
- These Terms & Conditions
- Available lesson types or instructors
Updates take effect upon posting on this page.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
